>> watch this. i am exhaling. the crash between duke street and seminary road, watch, you do not see it anymore. they have opened all lanes. more on the traffic, so stick around. back to alison and doug. the body of senator ted kennedy will lie in proposed for one more day. >> more than 20,000 people have paid a final tribute to a man they have never met but will never forget. on saturday, his body will be laid to rest alongside his brothers. >> crews are working hard to make sure everything is ready. pamela brown joins us live with more.

>> a private service will be held tomorrow morning in boston with a number of high-profile dignitaries including, including president obama. ted kennedy will then make his final trip to arlington where he will be buried next to his brothers. just a few feet from the eternal flame and the simple white cross is ted kennedy's final resting place. >> it is nice for people who want to remember them that the brothers are all together. >> groundskeepers are busy at work making the site meat and pristine for the people attending. there will be a bugler and air rifle squad and paul harris.

visitors flocked here to reflect on history. >> they were a great family. it is said because we have lost a great politician, a person who cares about people. >> he spent a lot of time here visiting fallen soldiers and his two brothers. he will now be reunited with them. >> senator kennedy came here all the time. he would come on the anniversaries of the deaths and the births. sometimes he would announce themselves. sometimes we would just find him up here. >> before he is laid to rest here, his casket will proceed to the u.s. capitol so that staff members can pay their final respects. >> thank you. before his burial, his casket will proceed to the u.s.

casket were members of his staff are invited to pay their final respects. people around the area are remembering senator kennedy. >> he was a veryu u >> this 8-year-old girl was one of the many students mentored by the senator. every tuesday, he spent his etu.h hour with ash e credits her love of reading to were time spent with kennedy. she was his final student. momentum is building to allow a temporary replacement to fill kennedy's senate seat. current state law requires an election of almost 160 days.

stay with us for the latest on the memorial service. the prince george's county school superintendent says he is sorry for the scheduling problem and that has kept thousands of students out of class. it is unclear whether the situation is back to normal. on monday, more than 8000 students had no schedules. many just sat there waiting. a computer program caused the problem. >> this issue does not end when every student has a schedule. we're reviewing our contract to see if there are possible damages that can be recovered. >> nearly 2000 students were still waiting for the schedules as of yesterday. the university of mary

water rushed down rear road. nearly a dozen people needed to be rescued. rescue workers were able to get all of those individuals to safety. they do not want to see the scene repeated. they were looking for these records. the pipe was installed in 1965. they determined the pipe was not installed properly. the pipe was installed next to some jagged rock and that caused the pipe to burst open. they cannot find those records and believe they might have been thrown away as the were cleaning out a storage area. inspectors will step up inspections of all of the pipes in the area. the pipe running down our road is going to be inspected later

brothers is selling his manhattan apartment and getting millions of dollars for it. they're selling it for almost $26 million. he was the head of lehman brothers during its bankruptcy implosion. he bought the property with five fireplaces for $21 million. the buyer is -- dee t maybone of the stocks influencing trading -- dell may be one of the stocks influencing trading on wall street. the hotel industry may be hurting, but not in washington d.c. washington was the only one of the top hotel markets to sell more rooms in june than a year earlier.
